Sandy Ravage and the Frustrations of Fame

In the world of Modern Warfare 2, Sandy Ravage is the Law. His series of Booster Justice videos on youtube has helped attract over 130,000 subscribers and inspire a horde fellow Nuke Boster Hunters to share their just cause.

Sandy Ravage's cult following have an insatiable hunger for his work and to keep his fans happy the MW2 legend launch his very own live stream channel. You can regularly watch him in realtime dishing out his own brand of justice or just dominating FFA lobbies.

The success of the live streams and Sandy's cult following is a double edge sword. As his latest live stream video shows, it is not enough for Ravage fans to watch, they are now activly getting involved and joining the lobbies. Much to Sandy's frustration as well as fighting genuine opponents he has to battle his own brand of groupie. You can also hear in the video the bemusement of other gamers as they are bombarded with friend requests from these groupies attempting to join the lobby.

The live stream also poses another problem for Sandy. The live element allows followers invading the lobby to know exactly where Sandy is on the map in realtime. We all get Predator Paranoia from time to time but maybe Sandy has genuine cause for concern.

Sandy's latest video (above) is the first in a series being released on the Team Noble community channel. In it you can see him owning various game rooms with the Spas. Please go subscribe to the channel ready for volume 2.

Welcome to Foxtrot Papa Sierra

Welcome Gamers,

This is Foxtrot Papa Sierra, a new blog primarily but not exclusively about FPS gaming. I aim to bring you the latest and most sort after news about gaming. I will also draw attention to the goings on within the gaming community. When I am not gaming myself, I am ususally trawling through other blogs and spending hours watching montage videos etc on youtube.

The gaming industry would not be what it is now without the community and it's support. My blog will therefore focus on supporting those doing interesting stuff within that community. If there is something I really like, I will highlight it here.

What I would like from you my readers is this. Please follow this blog, follow me on Twitter, become and fan on Facebook and subscribe to my Youtube channel. With regards to the latter, I do not intend to upload my own videos... YET. I will just use my channel to share and highlight videos/channels worthy of note. Please don't just support me, please show your suppport for the pages/channels I blog about by following and subscribing to them.

If you have something you would like me to feature on this blog then please drop me and email. I will aim to view everything sent to me.

A little bit about me now. I am a mature Xbox 360 gamer and love gaming online with friends. My first FPS game was Goldeneye which dominated the actvity in my sixth form common room. It was a number of years later when I finally got an Xbox360 that I was really sucked into the world of FPS gaming. You will notice the author of this blog is Gabriel Nowak. Well that is just a pseudonym. Can you tell me the game that inspired it? The first to do so will get a honorable mention in a forthcoming post. I can tell you that it was the first game I played online and really changed my view of online gaming. Some of the people I met back then I still game with via Live today.

I am currently playing Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Halo Reach. I am really looking forward to Medal of Honor and of course COD Black Ops. Check out my poll on the right.

Welcome to the blog, I hope you enjoy my future posts.
